MagZoom: The Future of Nike Running

In collaboration with Valentina Garcia Ruiz, I developed a hypothetical next-generation Nike performance shoe that redefines potential through adjustable magnetic technology. The shoe features repelling magnets in the heel, allowing runners to customize their experience—weaker for more cushioning, stronger for a responsive bounce.

A groundbreaking shoe demands an equally innovative launch. To build anticipation for the drop, we designed a progressive teaser campaign that hints at magnetism without revealing the shoe itself. A series of posters incorporated a magnetic frame that physically attracts metal objects of the passersby, mirroring the unseen force within the shoe.

The entire design system suggests magnetism in motion—from a magnetic field inspired logo to graphics that visualize the push and pull of invisible forces. This campaign doesn’t simply market a shoe; it immerses consumers in the experience of the shoe’s technology—before they even step foot inside.
